Week 1
The first week had the following people staying. Myself, Joe Power, John Mac, Alan Small, Seamus Small, Seamus Leddy, Roger Cheng, Johnny Eadie, Stuart Worrell, Steven Worrell, Graham and Ciarán.
There was no fresh snow this week. But the sun was out every day and visibility was excellent.
Everyone had a great time, but Seamus Small had a setback early in the week. A quick trip to the hospital confirmed what Seamus probably already knew; he had a broken leg. Thankfully Seamus' spirits were always up despite the cast and the crutches.
Alan took up skiing for the first week. Having never skied before it was something he took up very well, despite one or two small setbacks.. one of these is photographed below. Beginner snowboarder, Roger, fared very well on the slopes for the week. Ciarán also a new snowboarder, started well at the snowboarding, but perhaps he didn't seem to think so.. after a few days snowboarding he put the board away and went back to what he knows best.. the skis.
